This is the radio and amp that i use right now, for dxing. The amp is brand new, cause they want to much money on ebay for these amps, But the sales guy made a mistake when he sold it to me and charged me the price of the 811 so i got the 811h for the price of the 811 not the 811h, So i made out on that and i only paid 429.00 for the cushcraft r8 instead of the 539.00 that everyone is selling the r8 for, So i made out on both items, So then since i made out on both those items i decided to but a davis inturments weather station.So i went all out and bought the Wireless Vantage Pro2™ Plus with 24-Hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield and that cost me around 1200 dallors and it works great, It tells me eveything i need to know, Here in port richey you need to know how and where the storms are and ths weather station tells me everything.

The Radio above i have been using for over 15 years. Its a kenwood TS-450SAT. with a Kenwood TM-733a dual bander

Now below is my Now station, It is a Yaesu FT-950 with A GOLDLINE HEIL DUAL ELEMENT, a Yaesu FTM-350 AR dual bander and a Davis Instruments Weather station and a Ameritron 811H amp.

Well im done upgrading my station. I have everything i wanted. I have my yaesu ft-950, My yaesu ftm 350 ar, My ameritron am and my cushcraft r8 antenna. Now my station is complete. and im ready for some dxing now, So all we need is the good conditions to talk.

The yaesu ft-950 and the ameritron 811h and the cushcraft antenna is all i need to do some good dxing. So ill be ready when the conditions turn good. And with my new ftm 350 ar ill be able to see what repeater im on now. So now i got it all the radio the signalink, the amp, the antenna, the cable, the watt meter. man it took long enough to get it all. over 5 years, but then i got it all and all brandnew in 3 months, Well i,ll be having fun with it all now. Now that im done upgrading my hf station and antenna system. LETS GO DX .. LETS GO..

Well i got my new HF radio today, 4/20/2012 by ups. Man there was allot of packing in that big box. But when all the packing and boxes was removed and all i had was the radio, It was SWEET. Man this radio is nice. What a difference in recieve. The FT-950 is a great radio.All i need know is the adaptor for the heil mic. the photos above are of my first station here in florida is a kenwood ts-450sat. the second photo is of my new HF radio , it's a brandnew YAESU FT-950AT. i BOUGHT MY AMP 1/17/2012 of this year, The antenna photos are on the next page, are is brand new also.

Im trying my hand at APRS now. Since my YAESU ftm 350-ar does and transmitts APRS from the radio. The radio has a built in tnc for APRS, So now i have to get a cable for my weather station. So the radio will transmitts the weather too.
